Home/Who we decline

Selection

We decline work we cannot do well.

An engagement only works when the market, the buyer and the seller are right for it. We say so before any money is spent, and we turn down work that does not fit.

Selection

When we say no

  • You sell to consumers. Outbound email is a business-to-business channel.
  • A customer is worth under $5,000 to you. The arithmetic needs too many replies to work.
  • There is no clear ideal customer yet. We would be guessing, and so would you.
  • Nobody on your side can answer a warm reply within a day or two.
  • You need results inside thirty days. The first two weeks are inbox warmup and cannot be skipped.
  • You need a guarantee of closed deals. Nobody can promise that honestly, because the close is yours.

Process

How a market is tested first

Size it from free data
Before any list is bought, we size the market from public data and set the pass bar in advance.
Score a sample
We score a sample of 40 companies against the one-sentence description of your buyer, reading each company's own website. At least half the sample must be the buyer, and the market must hold at least 40 firms.
Stop early
If too few reachable buyers come out of that test, the market stops there and no contacts are bought. You are told, with the reason.

Standards

What we will not do

  • Take a cut of the deals you close, at any deal size.
  • Send from your domain.
  • Email personal addresses.
  • Send anything to your market that you have not approved.
  • Hand you a tool and a login to run yourself. We run the operation.
