How to get car dealership cleaning contracts

The short version
- The general manager signs. At a dealer group, a regional facilities or operations lead signs for several rooftops.
- The showroom is the account. Glass, floors and restrooms, every morning before the doors open.
- Service bays and detail areas are a separate scope with different work and different pricing.
- Dealer groups compound: one rooftop done well becomes the group's cleaner.
The showroom is the whole pitch
A dealership sells cars off a floor that has to look like the brochure. Fingerprints on the glass, dust on the hoods, a restroom a customer mentions to a salesperson: the GM hears about all of it the same day. Dealerships pay for a cleaner who makes the showroom disappear as a worry, and they pay well for it because the floor is where the money is made.
Who signs
The general manager at a single store. At a dealer group with several rooftops, a regional facilities manager or director of operations, and that's the person who can hand you the group. The service manager runs the service side and sometimes owns that scope separately. Aim at the GM, mention the group if there is one.
What they care about
- The showroom every morning before opening: glass, floors, the cars themselves dusted, the customer lounge and restrooms spotless.
- Weekend hours. Dealerships are busiest on Saturdays, and the cleaner has to work around that.
- Consistency. The same crew, the same standard, every day, because the GM walks the floor every day.
- A separate answer for the service department: bays, waiting area, service drive, the parts counter.
The two scopes
Showroom, offices, customer lounge and restrooms are one scope: high standard, early morning, priced on presentation. Service bays, the service drive, the detail area and the parts department are another: degreasing, floor scrubbing, drains, priced on the work. Quote them as two lines. A dealership that only wants the showroom cleaned is still a good account, and the service side is the upsell once they trust you on the floor.
How to reach them
Email the GM by name. Dealership GMs get vendor pitches constantly, so the email has to be about their floor, not about you, and short enough to read between customers.
Subject: [Dealership name] showroom
Hi [First name],
We clean dealerships in [City]: showroom glass, floors and customer areas done before you open, and the service side quoted separately if you want it.
If the current crew is missing the glass or the restrooms and you're hearing about it from customers, I'll walk the store before opening and quote it the same week.

The walkthrough and the bid
Walk it before opening so you see the floor the way a customer will at nine. Note the glass, the floor finish, the lounge, the restrooms, and ask what the GM hears complaints about. Quote the showroom scope with a daily pre-opening window and the service scope as its own line. If it's a group, say what the same standard across rooftops would look like, and then win the one you're standing in.
What we do, if you'd rather not build it
We run cold email to the facility, office and property managers in your service area, in your company's name, and screen every reply. You get a meeting-ready lead: a manager who fits the profile you wrote down and replied wanting a quote or a walkthrough, with the whole thread. One flat monthly fee with every lead included, scoped on the call in about four minutes. Month to month, no minimum term. Cold email only; we don't call and we don't do LinkedIn.
Thirty minutes. We count the buildings in your service area and check the numbers on your contract size.

What does a dealership cleaning contract include?
Usually the showroom, offices, customer lounge and restrooms every morning before opening, with glass and floors as the priority. Service bays, the service drive and detail areas are a separate scope with heavier work.
When do you clean a car dealership?
Early morning before the doors open, seven days a week at most stores, with weekends non-negotiable because that's when the floor is busiest.
How do I get a dealer group's cleaning contract?
Win one rooftop through the GM, do it visibly well, and ask for the introduction to the group's facilities lead. Groups rarely sign every store at once; they add stores as the incumbents slip.
