How it works
You stay in control at every step.
Assessment comes first. A licence and payment come later, and only if you approve them. Here is who does what along the way.
1. The records you already keep
Years of work, already logged
Each request, what your team did, and how it turned out
Service and repair jobs
Orders and returns
Freight billing
Illustration: records like these often live in tools such as the ones shown. Any system can work. None of these companies is our partner or involved in this.
2. Fit and scope
The first conversation
Your business, your systems, how far back the history goes. No files
We agree the next step
Or we tell you it isn't worth checking
Our licensing partner assesses fit
We represent you
3. Your decision and the licence
You review the scope and terms
Approve, change or decline
Records prepared and de-identified
Names and anything you rule out stay out
A buyer licenses the prepared records
An AI developer, for the use the licence permits
Payment reaches you as agreed
Handled by our licensing partner under the agreement

What can stay out
You decide what is in scope.
Any licence covers only the records you approve. These can be kept out entirely or removed before anything is shared:
- Customer names, addresses and contact details
- Employee names and personal information
- Pricing, margins and supplier terms
- Records covered by a customer confidentiality agreement
- Anything else you would rather not share
Process questions
Who does what, and who decides
Who does the work?
We handle the conversation, coordination and representation. Our licensing partner handles the specialist work: assessment, security, legal, preparation, buyer negotiation and delivery. Your team answers questions and approves decisions.
What will our team need to do?
At the start, very little: a conversation and some rough numbers. If an assessment goes ahead, someone who knows your systems answers questions. We confirm the expected time commitment for your records before you agree to anything.
Who approves what is licensed?
You do. You approve the scope of the assessment, the records included in any licence, the permitted use and the terms. You can decline at any stage.
How are our records protected?
Specialist handling is done by our licensing partner under a confidentiality agreement. Sensitive information such as customer names and contact details can be removed or kept out of scope. We confirm the specific security and transfer arrangements for your records before any access is given.
When is payment made?
Payment terms are set out in the licence agreement and depend on the deal. You will see them in writing before you sign.
Have a question about the process?
Ask it on the first call. We will explain what would happen with your records specifically.
Start with a short description of your business and the records you hold. No files or logins needed.
